Highlights:
Kobe - Kobe is a port city in Hyogo Prefecture, 33km west of Osaka, and one of Japan's most pleasant cities for both residents and visitors alike, with a laid-back cosmopolitan feel.
Now completely rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1995, Kobe's dramatic location, sandwiched on a narrow strip of land between mountains and sea, allied to its great food and lively nightlife make the city an ideal place to go if you are visiting nearby Kyoto or Osaka.
Visit Kobe's Chinatown (also known as "Nanking Machi") is west of Sannomiya, just south of Motomachi Station, but suffers slightly in comparison with Yokohama's more vibrant and authentic Chinatown. still a great place to sample a wide variety of Chinese cuisine and shop for Chinese souvenirs such as Chinese tea, lanterns, incense and all things panda-related. Notable presences here are Kobe City Hall (with good views of Kobe from the top), the Daimaru Department Store and Kobe City Museum, with its fine collection of nanban (lit. "southern barbarian") art, namely wood block prints detailing Japan's early Western visitors, both traders and missionaries.
Also The Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art is a world-class art museum near the waterfront about 2.5km east of Sannomiya Station. A must see is Meriken Park which has a spacious, waterfront with museums, memorials and luxury accommodation. The iconic red, cylindrical 108 m-high Port Tower overlooks Meriken Park, provides fine high-rise views of the city, and has a revolving cafe.
In the bay just south of the main Sannomiya center are two artificial islands: Port Islandand Rokko Island. Among Rokko Island's attractions is the Kobe Fashion Museum, Japan's first museum dedicated to fashion (Mon-Sat 11am-6pm, 500 yen).

Penang - With its colonial past, it’s hardly surprising that Penang features more than a few tourist-worthy attractions. Listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 2008, the capital – Georgetown – is the embodiment of Penang, so much so that the two names are almost interchangeable. The conurbation holds most of the ‘Isle of the Betel Nut’s sightseeing spots from the Kek Lok Si Temple and Khoo Kongsi clan house to Fort Cornwallis and the Botanical Gardens.
Penang Hill, or Flagstaff Hill (Bukit Bendera) as it is officially known, rises 821 metres above sea level, providing a welcome break from the heat below. One of Penang’s most popular attractions, a trip up is a not-to-be-missed experience, providing visitors with breathtaking views of the whole island all the way to the top.
Amongst the largest Buddhist temple complex in Southeast Asia, Kek Lok Si Temple stands on top of a hill in the little town of Air Itam. Founded more than a hundred years ago, the complex is filled with beautifully-landscaped gardens and sacred temples. Also the home of an influential Chinese industrialist in the early 1890s, the award-winning Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion represents the best of 18th and 19th-century Chinese architecture. Fort Cornwallis is one of Penang’s most well known landmarks. Within its ten-foot-high walls (which are laid out in the shape of a star), you can see a 17th century chapel, some prison cells, ammunition storage area, and more.
Penang’s Khoo Khongsi is a Chinese clanhouse for individuals with the surname Khoo. A clanhouse acts as a representation of a specific family’s social and spiritual commitments between extended relations, ancestors and the outside community. Visit a Thai temple built in 1845, Wat Chaiya Mangkalaram houses the giant Reclining Buddha statue.
Not to forget, Penang is known in the world as the street food haven with a must try dish of "Assam Laksa", "Char Keow Teow" (fried noodles), Rojak, Chendol and Nasi Kandar.

Beijing - Beijing, China’s sprawling capital, has history stretching back 3 millennia. Yet it’s known as much for modern architecture as its ancient sites such as the grand Forbidden City complex, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Nearby, the massive Tiananmen Square pedestrian plaza is the site of Mao Zedong’s mausoleum and the National Museum of China, displaying a vast collection of cultural relics.
Kobe - Kobe is a city on Osaka Bay in central Japan. It is known for its signature marbled beef and scenic setting of mountains framing the harbor. The Ikuta Shrine, dating to the 3rd century, is among Japan's oldest Shinto shrines. Antique cable cars connect Kobe to Mt. Rokko, which offers panoramic views over the port. Beyond the Mount Rokko hills are the outdoor hot springs of Arima Onsen.
Kobe is famous for its own Kobe beef. Kobe Beef is a prized Japanese delicacy and probably the most widely-known regional specialty food in Japan. It is one of several breeds of Wagyu, or Japanese cattle, which are bred throughout the country and often associated with the area where they are raised.
Kobe Beef is usually served as steaks, shabu shabu (thin slices of meat quickly boiled in a broth) or sukiyaki (meat slices simmered in a hot pot). One of the best ways to enjoy Kobe Beef is at a teppanyaki restaurant, where a chef grills the meat on an iron plate in front of his guests

The reporter was told the name is “Inyeug” meaning “Small Island”. Mystery Island itself has some modern amenities for cruises passengers such as newly jetty recently build in April, 2016. With the new jetty, it could now accommodate at least four tender boats that transfer tourists from the cruise ship to the island.
